Mana Pools Safari Lodge | Hideaways Life-Changing Experiences

Mana Pools Safari Lodge

Mana Pools is the definition of wild Africa – untamed, remote and abundant with wildlife. Time spent here, beneath the apple-ring albida trees, offers unparalleled game viewing and photographic opportunities, with Mana’s light and beauty unmatched anywhere on the African continent.

The life-giving power of the Zambezi River makes Mana Pools National Park one of Zimbabwe’s most biodiverse in nature and abundant in species of the river, earth and sky.

Mana Pools Safari Lodge is our wilderness base wrapped in comfort, complimented by the warmth of Zimbabwean hospitality. Built into the landscape, the lodge becomes one with nature, wildlife and lodge life existing in harmony.

Your Experience

Mana Pools Safari Lodge nestles close to the National Park’s eastern boundary, woven between riverine figs and albida trees. Its thatched chalets each enjoy a view of the sweeping floodplains, as well as the mighty Zambezi River beyond, the possibility of seeing game from the comfort of your room, from dawn till dusk.

Taking time to relax on the deck or in your chalet allows for an in house game viewing experience. The Ruckomeshi river is one of the area’s lifesource for wildlife such as elephants, kudu, buffalo, wild dog and even lion; witnessed meandering through camp to quench their thirst in front of the lodge.

A giant African Mango tree takes centre stage in the main area of the lodge, reaffirming our connection with nature. A swimming pool awaits as reprieve from the African heat, cooling off after a day of exploring the park. Guided game drives and walking safaris gift the opportunity of immersing yourself in the wilderness, embracing and absorbing the wisdom of the wild. A dinner under African skies is the perfect way to end your day, reflections of your encounters shared with the stars.

The lodge is accessible by air charter with a 45 minute drive from Mana West airport to the lodge, by land with a 6 hour transfer from Harare to Chirundu.
