Dumi is the esteemed head guide at Elephant’s Eye Tented Camp, located in his favourite location, the magnificent Hwange National Park. Dumi’s lifelong exposure to the game ranging industry through his father ultimately led him to follow his true passion for nature conservation and become a guide.

Dumi takes immense pride in his ability to connect with clients, effectively interpreting their needs and delivering an exceptional service.

Courage is the dedicated and passionate head guide at Nantwich Lodge in Hwange National Park, whose lifelong dream of becoming a guide was inspired by his father and uncle, both of whom were field guides.

One of Courage’s greatest passions is nature conservation, which he believes is crucial for preserving the diverse flora and fauna for future generations to enjoy. As a guide, he takes great pride in sharing his knowledge and expertise with guests, helping them to spot animals that are on their bucket list.

Dima

Dima is a highly esteemed guide at Mogotlho Safari Lodge who has spent his entire life in Botswana. Growing up in the region has endowed him with extensive knowledge of the region’s flora and fauna.

Dima cherishes his position at Mogotlho Safari Lodge, where he feels liberated to unleash his creativity and capture breath-taking videos of his wild encounters.

Steve Bolnick

Steve Bolnick is an exceptional safari guide, renowned for his deep love and knowledge of the African bush. Having spent the past 40 years living and guiding in Southern Africa, he is recognised as one of the best in the region.

His passion lies in walking safaris in big game country like Mana Pools National Park, where Camp Mana is situated.  He is one of the only guides licensed to operate professionally in South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe.

Shepherd, the Head Guide and Assistant Manager at Big Cave Camp, is a passionate nature enthusiast who wholeheartedly embraces his role. To Shepherd, guiding feels like a perpetual vacation, as he finds immense joy and fulfilment in his work.

Birding and mountain biking are two of Shepherd’s great passions. Exploring the avian wonders of the area and pedaling through the rugged terrain bring him a profound sense of contentment. His deep appreciation for the natural world is evident in his vast knowledge and infectious enthusiasm, which he eagerly shares with guests.

Andrew Dalzell

Birding Safaris

Andrew Dalzell has lived a life of adventure and purpose. It has taken him from the shores of Zambia to the rapids of Zimbabwe, and from the vast savannas of Tanzania to the sprawling wilds of Zambia.

Born in Zambia, Andrew’s family then moved to Zimbabwe where he spent most of his formative years. He began his career as a canoe guide on the Lower Zambezi in 1989 and he spent two years guiding guests on the Zambezi River.

Clint Robertson

Birding Safaris

As a young boy growing up in Zimbabwe almost every second of Clint’s childhood was spent outside with his best friend (his dog), but nothing could beat the camping trips he experienced in some of Zimbabwe’s greatest game reserves.

He credits the influence of his father on his upbringing on the family farm, saying “the privilege to have grown up in Zimbabwe” is something he’ll cherish forever.
