Best time to visit Shashani Matobo Hills safari lodge

For the best wildlife experience, opt to book your stay at our Matobo safari lodge for the dry season, between June and October. Not only are the days mild and pleasant, but the bush has also thinned out, making animal spotting easier. The summer months from October to March tend to be hot and have the highest rainfall of the year. Don’t discard this time completely, as the spectacular green scenery makes for prime birdwatching while the abundant wildflowers attract a myriad of insects.
