Arno & Adele
Growing up alongside his father, a dedicated member of the Natal Parks board for an impressive 27 years, Arno discovered his passion for conservation and nature while hosting conferences. His mother’s wildlife rehabilitation center further nurtured his love for the wild. After obtaining a Hotel Management degree in London, Arno worked there for the duration of his studies before finding his way back to the African bush.
Adele, on the other hand, fell in love with Arno, and she willingly followed him to pursue his dreams. With a background in forensic accounting, Adele embraces the daily challenges that come with managing a camp in the heart of Africa.
Both Arno and Adele share a deep appreciation for the breathtaking sunsets, abundant wildlife, and the tranquil serenity that Camp Kuzuma offers. They thrive on the unique difficulties that arise in their remote bush setting. Their management philosophy revolves around treating their team like family.
Recognising the isolation of the bush, they prioritise the well-being and growth of their staff, providing comprehensive training and mentorship in all aspects of life.
Arno and Adele’s goals for Camp Kuzuma are simple yet powerful – to live up to the camp’s motto, “Once experienced, never forgotten.” Their vision is to create a special and unforgettable experience for every guest who walks through the camp’s doors. They strive to foster a sense of friendship, ensuring that guests arrive as visitors and depart as cherished friends.
