The Hideaways eco lodge collection offers luxurious accommodations in Botswana, which is home to several renowned national parks and game reserves, that provide excellent safari opportunities. Our Botswana safari lodges are situated in world-renowned locations such as the Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park & Moremi Game Reserve. These protected areas offer a wide range of ecosystems, from wetlands and marshes to savannahs and deserts, supporting a diverse array of wildlife. Botswana’s safari experiences are characterized by incredible wildlife encounters. African elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and many more species can be found in their natural habitats. Botswana is also a paradise for birdwatchers, with over 500 bird species, including African fish eagles, lilac-breasted rollers, and colorful bee-eaters.

One of Botswana’s crown jewels, the Okavango Delta, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and an oasis in the Kalahari Desert. It is the largest inland delta in the world and teems with wildlife. Exploring the delta by traditional mokoro (dugout canoe), motorboat, or on foot allows you to navigate through the waterways and witness the unique ecosystem and its inhabitants up close. Within the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve is known for its diverse habitats, ranging from floodplains to dense forests. It offers excellent game viewing with a chance to spot the Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, rhinoceros, and buffalo). Moremi also provides an opportunity to witness the rare African wild dogs. Further North, Chobe National Park is renowned for its vast elephant herds. You can embark on game drives along the Chobe River, where you’ll encounter elephants bathing, hippos wallowing, and large herds of buffalo. Chobe also offers opportunities for boat safaris, providing a different perspective to observe wildlife from the water.
