About Mark Ascott-Evans

The outdoors is my life. I love the freedom of the ocean, the wildlife, and the incredible diversity we have in this country. I am passionate about sharing the beauty of our cultures, food and landscapes with others
I started guiding for a Cape Town-based educational travel company that organised study-abroad programmes for American universities. The students explored South Africa’s culture and history as part of their degree programmes.
I love sharing our landscapes, wildlife and culture with guests through a sense of adventure.
The ocean and its wildlife are closest to my heart. Marine ecosystems intrigue me, and I am naturally drawn to the beauty and diversity of this underwater world.
