Guiding Philosophy

Sean believes the best safari moments happen when things slow down. Instead of rushing from sighting to sighting, he encourages guests to step out, walk quietly and truly listen to the bush. For him, guiding is about helping travellers reconnect with nature in a deeper way. Watching an elephant move silently through the trees, hearing the call of birds at dawn, or simply sitting still beside the river as the wilderness unfolds around you.

About Sean Hind

I spent a lot of my childhood camping and learning about the bush from my aunt and uncle, who spent a lot of their time teaching me about fishing and Birding.
My guiding career started in the Save Conservancy in southern Zimbabwe.
Every day in the bush is different. One of the greatest joys is seeing the excitement on a guest’s face when they see something for the first time, like an elephant or giraffe.
I would have to say that the Zambezi valley (Matusadona National Park, Mana Pools) is close to my heart as this is where my passion for the bush started.
