Boat Transfer to Mana Pools

Safari Experiences

There is no better introduction to Mana Pools National Park than a boat transfer from Chirundu to Camp Mana. Experience the wild surroundings from the water and witness life along the Zambezi River. The protected park’s remote location along the Zambezi River means that this boat transfer becomes a wildlife safari from the start. During the dry winter months huge herds of elephant, buffalo, zebra and many other antelope species congregate on the banks of the river to quench their thirst. Lion, hyena, cheetah and wild dog are never far!

During the boat transfer you’ll see Nile crocodile and hippopotamus in great numbers as well as many of the 450 recorded bird species. The natural world welcomes you to Mana Pools National Park with several stops allowing you to take in what this wildlife wonderland presents.
